A life long resident of Austin, Texas, Mary Paige Huey earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Texas and has continued in the art’s community ever since. Stone Sculpture was her primary focus until 2004 when a car accident curtailed this means of expression.
With a background in film photography from the 70’s, she soon enrolled in the Photo Tech Department at Austin Community College and has continued there ever since, learning digital skills and keeping up with each new edition of software. Now she is happy to be surrounded by the latest in photo technology and to take the photographic process from capture to print.
She has received a Photographic Artist Certificate and continues to work for an Associate Degree in Photography. She specializes in photo restorations for clients and enjoys creating family history composites. She produces archival photographic art prints of places and people and and has also produced numerous books of her photos.
She is a member of the Texas Professional Photographers Association, Texas Photographic Society, and Austin Center for Photography.
